The COVID-19 pandemic has opened countless opportunities for young musicians and artists to start their sacred musical ventures on various social media platforms. Many gifted singers and artists who were almost unknown to the public soon achieved popularity as numerous new Christian music channels began to pop up on YouTube.

GB Audio Productions is one such example, initiated by Gracen Peter on 20th August 2020, when he was a final year student of Bachelor of Theology. Gracen is a gifted musician, composer, and singer from Kottarakara of Kerala’s Kollam district. He is an expert in music programming, mixing, and mastering. He had composed music for several songs in various languages. Despite his unique talents, he is humble and generous in his personality.

GB Audio Productions is a Malayalam Christian music channel. It features the cover songs. Occasionally, a few original songs are produced, such as ‘Angekku Mathrame’ (the official Malayalam Translation of the classic English song “Oh Lord, You're Beautiful” by Keith Green) and ‘Nannayi Ariyunnavan’. Gracen programs music for all of them. Although it was started to publish Gracen’s music productions, the platform has opened opportunities for many gifted singers and musicians who are unpopular and unrecognised. This is one of the aims of this channel – to give chances to individuals who lack opportunities to come up on their own. Interestingly, the duration of most of the videos falls between 2 to 4 minutes. With soothing music and soulful vocals, GB Audio Productions easily attracts the young generation. Another aim of the channel, according to Gracen, is to impact youth and present God to them through music. The target audience is not just Christian youth but also those of other faiths. Gracen believes music is a powerful medium to reach the young population, impact the upcoming generations and nurture them in faith.

GB Audio Productions might not be as well-known as other producers, but it has collaborated with various Malayalam Christian music artists, including Flevy Isaac Johnson and ‘PSALMS MEDIA’. What sets GB Audio Productions apart is its simple generosity and dedication to Christian ministry. Music is not only an art and profession but also a powerful tool for ministry. When used as a channel for ministry, music can have a significant impact.

Gracen Peter has created a safe space for talented singers and musicians to share their gifts. GB Audio Productions is a testimony to the power of dedication and genuine passion, proving that anyone can make a difference with humility, talent, and a heart for serving others.
