The film “The Case for Christ” is the cinematic adaptation of Lee Strobel’s best-selling novel that goes by the same name published in the year 1998. The story was based on the real-life experience of Lee Strobel in his personal journey from atheism to faith. The film follows its protagonist, an atheist Lee Strobel, who worked as an investigative journalist. It shows how he lived a very fulfilling life with his wife, Leslie, while they were expecting their second child together. Their domestic bliss was interrupted after a life-altering event, which led Leslie to start becoming interested in Christianity. Eventually, she embraced the faith wholeheartedly. Struggling to reconcile his scepticism with Leslie's newfound beliefs, Lee sets out on a determined mission to discredit Christianity, particularly its cornerstone belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He consults with everyone from doctors to historians to psychiatric professionals to help him disprove the resurrection in any way. The film explores Lee's various relationships during his investigation, especially the strain they had taken on his marriage. As he dives deeper into the investigation, he overcomes intellectual and emotional challenges, leading to a profound transformation. “The Case for Christ” is a story of discovery and redemption. The movie is available to watch on various platforms, including YouTube.
