A great movie that critiques the shallow values our materialistic world cherishes

By Media Desk on 19th June, 2023

This movie is about a disillusioned psychologist who attempts suicide by jumping from the 21st floor of a corporate building, and a beggar who climbed up to persuade him to live with a new perspective on life. The beggar refuses to reveal his name but identifies him as a seller of things that money cannot buy. During their acquaintance, the unnamed beggar teaches the psychologist to gain strength to face the difficulties of life with a new perspective. It has a powerful message to those who prefer power and money over other greater values in life, like corporate executives who have lost touch with their basic humanity and treat their employees like disposable numbers. This movie reflects our shallow material world that has distorted our thoughts.
